Bethany Skill Development Center, Kolkata 

Kolkata was inspirational in the life of Mar Ivanios, when he was a professor at Serampore College, in the shaping of a religious congregation, Bethany Ashram took the special initiative to start an Ashram Kolkata. Ever since its beginning, it takes care of the social as well as pastoral needs of the community and socio-development activities for the local people.  1993 Bethany Ashram Kolkata started a Homeopathic free Dispensary for the poor people in the locality. In 2015 a skill development institute for tailoring also started. At present, around 40 students learn tailoring skills.
