TB Rehabilitation Center, Pulayanarkotta

TB Rehabilitation center at Pulayanarkotta runs purely on charitable basis and rehabilitates TB patients after or during their treatment in the Government run TB hospital at Pulayanarkotta.  The center was started in the year 1980. Fr. John Kuzhinapurath  OIC worked as the chaplain of TB Sanatorium at Pulayanarkotta. He cycled several kilometers every day to do missionary and charitable work. When he realised that the families of the patients discharged after treatment have not been receiving them, he felt sympathy towards them and founded this home to rehabilitate them.  He started the prayer centre at the T. B. Sanitorium at Pulayanarkotta, Trivandrum.  Now the center houses around 15 people who are in need post TB care.
